items over CHF 500 by email

At the moment we do not wish to accept payments over CHF 500 by
PayPal anymore because PayPal have changed their refund policy and do no longer
refund their transaction fees if a seller sends a refund to a buyer. Therefore a
buyer would end up with a substantial loss of about 5% if a refund is necessary
for a return or in case of an error when a buyer placed an order with an
incorrect shipping address or impermissibly ordered multiple pieces of the same
item number etc.
We refuse this new customer-unfriendly and greedy refund policy of PayPal.
Therefore large orders exceeding the value of CHF 500 must be paid by bank
transfer unless you send us a written agreement by email to
info@uniqueopals.ch
that you will accept a loss of about 5% if a refund should be necessary for any
reason. In this case we will send you a link that allows you to pay the
requested item number(s) by PayPal.
Orders up to CHF 500 can still be paid
by PayPal as usual by simply clicking the "Add to Cart" button and proceeding to
Checkout.
To pay an order by bank transfer please send us
an e-mail to
info@uniqueopals.ch
and indicate the item number(s) you wish to order and your
full name and shipping address.
We will then confirm your order and send you the required payment
details.
Payment by bank transfer brings further advantages to the buyer since your bank is usually
offering a better exchange rate than PayPal and European customers can directly pay in euros by SEPA-transfer
(SEPA=Single Euro Payments Area).
We specially thank all customers who help us to save
unnecessary PayPal fees and pay large orders by bank transfer.
